This is the category we make ourselves. The Capri and Key counterstools are hand-forged steel from our Dallas shop — five iron finishes, eight vegan-leather seat colors, built to commercial weight. Caracole rounds out the upholstered options; outdoor stools live with the Outdoor collection.

Counter height (24–26" seat) fits standard 36" counters; bar height (28–30") fits 42" bars. Measure before you order — it's the most common stool mistake. Our Capri and Key counterstools run a 26" and 26" seat respectively, with barstool variants joining the line soon.
Because we forge them here, the in-house stools do what resale pieces can't: pick any of five hand-applied iron finishes — Black, Graphite, Iron Bronze, Warm Silver, Metallic Brass — and see the photo recolor live on the product page, then choose from eight JF Fabrics Viper vegan-leather seat colors. Need a custom height, footrail detail, or a run of twenty for a restaurant? That's a project enquiry — it's literally what our shop does.
Stools usually arrive last in a kitchen project but set its rhythm — match or deliberately contrast your dining chairs, and consider the view from the living room: backless or low-back keeps sightlines open.
What the range looks like
Thirty stools from about $1,080 to $2,400 across three makers — Caracole's upholstered seats, Costantini's benchmade frames, and our own Capri and Key counterstools forged in the Dallas shop, configurable across five iron finishes and eight seat leathers on their product pages. The in-house pair ships from our own floor, not a container.
The same forge
