Privacy Policy

Last updated July 31, 2026

D'Hierro (“D’Hierro,” “we,” “us”) designs and forges custom architectural ironwork and furnishings from our studio in Dallas, Texas. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the site or submitting a form, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you start a project, request a quote, order swatches, apply to the trade program, place an order, or otherwise contact us, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email, phone number, project address, and any notes, measurements, or files you send.

Order and payment information. When you purchase online, your payment is processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We receive order details (items, amount, shipping address, contact info) but we do not collect or store your full card number; that is handled directly by Stripe under its own security and privacy practices.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic technical and usage data (such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring links) through cookies and similar technologies, where enabled. Your shopping cart is stored in your browser, not on our servers.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

respond to inquiries and prepare quotes; fulfill and deliver orders and arrange white-glove service; manage trade and designer accounts; operate, secure, and improve the website; and, where you have opted in, send occasional updates. We process this information to perform a contract with you, to pursue our legitimate business interests, or with your consent.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business and only as needed for that purpose — for example, our customer-relationship system (HubSpot), our payment processor (Stripe), delivery partners, email providers, and website analytics. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

Cookies and analytics

We use necessary browser storage to remember your cart, maintain secure sign-in where applicable, prevent duplicate form submissions, remember your privacy choice, and maintain one opaque landing-visit identifier for up to 30 minutes of activity in the current browser tab, and operate CallRail dynamic number insertion so the phone number displayed during a visit routes correctly and preserves the source that led to a call. CallRail may assign a visitor-level tracking number and retain its routing/source cookie for up to six months. On the first page of a visit, our site also records one anonymous receipt in our business system: that identifier, the time, the page and referring paths, and any campaign parameters or Google click identifiers in the incoming link. Query details are removed from stored page and referrer URLs, and the receipt does not include your name, email address, or phone number. This first-party receipt lets us reconcile advertising clicks with later inquiries and is retried only until our system acknowledges the same identifier.

With your permission, we also use Google Analytics, Google Ads measurement, and Plausible to understand which campaigns and pages lead to project inquiries and purchases. This optional measurement may collect page and event activity, referring and landing pages, campaign parameters, Google click identifiers, a pseudonymous Analytics client/session ID, and conversion details. CallRail's necessary routing record may include the referring source, landing page, campaign parameters, page path, and call-attribution details so an incoming call can be connected to the visit that prompted it.

Google Consent Mode v2 defaults optional analytics and advertising storage to denied until you choose “Allow measurement.” We keep advertising personalization disabled. When you allow measurement, first- and latest-touch campaign information may be retained in this browser for up to 90 days and included with a form you intentionally submit. If you decline, we do not retain that optional 90-day attribution or load Plausible; the short-lived first-party landing receipt and CallRail call-routing measurement described above still apply, and information present on the current page may accompany an inquiry you send from it. Google tags may send limited, cookieless measurement signals when storage is denied. You can revisit your choice at any time using “Privacy choices” in the site footer, and you can also control cookies in your browser.

When you choose an email link, we may add an opaque website reference and the non-sensitive source/page context to the draft. This helps us connect an email you decide to send with the visit that prompted it; it does not contain the message you write or your Google advertising click identifier.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and you may opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Depending on where you live (including under Texas and California law), you may have additional rights; we honor verifiable requests as required by applicable law. To make a request, email info@dhierro.com.

Data retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, to maintain order and warranty records), then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

The site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, take additional steps where required.
