Designed for the opening. Built by one team.

Every stair is different. We measure the run and landings, resolve the handrail, guard spacing, curves, and transitions, then forge and install the complete black steel railing from our Dallas shop.

Resolve the stair beyond the pattern.

A railing has to follow the real stair, connect to the building, and feel right in daily use.

The full run and landing

Send views of the stair from above and below, including the landings and adjoining guards. Curves, changes in slope, and handrail transitions need to be drawn together.

Attachment and finished surfaces

Coordinate the mounting with the stair structure and the final stone, wood, or tile thickness. The attachment and installation sequence should be resolved before surrounding finishes hide the supporting construction.

Interior or exterior exposure

Balconies and outdoor railings add weather exposure and waterproofing interfaces to the design review. Confirm the finish and anchoring details for the location, alongside the project’s guard and handrail requirements.

Questions, answered.

Do your railings meet code for guard height and spacing?
Yes — interior and exterior guards are detailed to the applicable building code (typically 4-inch sphere spacing and code guard heights) without looking like code did the designing.
Can you design for a curved or complex stair?
Yes. We measure the run and landing, develop the rail profile and guard rhythm, and resolve the transitions before fabrication.
How do you handle the handrail detail?
We draw the handrail as part of the railing system, with the profile, finish, and grip shaped to the architecture and daily use.
Can you match a railing to existing ironwork?
We can pick up the pattern, scale, and finish of existing work so an addition or repair reads as original.
