Steel-and-glass is the envelope of this modern Dallas–Fort Worth residence: a steel pivot door at the entry, and slender steel window walls that run the length of the principal rooms. Sightlines were kept as narrow as the structure would allow, so the glass reads as one continuous plane and the landscape does the decorating.
Architectural steel at this level is the founders’ lifelong craft — the decades of work that D’Hierro grew out of.
