Seven common questions

Before you begin.

Prefer to talk? (972) 943-9924

What should I send with the first message?

No plans required. For your own home: what you are planning, the project address, your name, mobile and email. For a designer, architect or builder: your name, email and what you need. Photos, plans, rough measurements and inspiration are welcome, now or later. Our Dallas team will follow up within one business day.

Do the dimensions need to be final?

No. Approximate dimensions and opening counts are useful for the first pass. Final conditions are field-verified and resolved in shop drawings before fabrication begins.

I’m the designer. Can you work from my drawings?

Yes. Send the elevations, a door and window schedule or rough sizes, and we price every opening on one schedule, then return shop drawings for your review before fabrication. Choose “I’m the designer, architect or builder” in the form; your client’s address isn’t needed to start. Yes. Send the drawings or photos you have, the project location and the expected budget. We review the scope first and confirm whether it fits before planning design work or a site visit.

What does a project typically cost, and how long does it take?

Statement entrances typically $10k–$25k. Multi-room projects typically $20k–$65k. Residence projects typically $60k–$250k+. Every project is drawn and quoted for its openings; size, glass, finish, hardware and site conditions set the final investment. Fabrication is typically 8–12 weeks after drawing approval. For railings, gates and balconies, we first review the project scope and intended budget. Tell us whether the work is standalone or part of a door and window project; we confirm pricing and timing after reviewing the details.

What affects project-specific pricing?

The first estimate is based mainly on the type of ironwork, opening area, quantity, delivery, and installation. Final pricing and fabrication details confirm glass specification, hardware, finish, handing, engineering, and field conditions after approval.

How should I think about glass, finish, and hardware?

Bring the look, privacy, performance, and use case you want. We can guide glass, powder-coat or patina finish, pulls, locks, and other hardware during design development; our materials and finishes guide is a useful starting point. Materials and finishes

Can I see the steel and glass before deciding?

Yes. See full-size steel, glass, hardware and finishes in a private appointment at our Dallas showroom. Evenings and Saturdays by request. Bring your designer. If the scope and budget are a fit, we can discuss a showroom visit or another appropriate next step. Start by sending the project details for review.
